中国的国情决定了“三农”问题是中国社会主义现代化建设成功和今后发展的根本性问题。江泽民关于解决“三农”问题的思想是我们党制定新时期“三农”政策的理论基础,其中关于“三农”的地位与作用、农村经济体制改革、农业保护、科教兴农、农业可持续发展等主要内容,对建设中国特色社会主义事业具有重要的指导意义。

The problems of the 'countryside, agriculture & farmers' are the fundamental problems that determine the success of China's modernization constrction and its future development. President Jiang Zemin always pays special attention to these problems and his ideas on the solution of these problems serve as the theoretical basis of the stipulation of the policy about the 'countryside, agriculture & farmers' at the new period, and are of guiding significance to the construction of socialist cause with Chinese features. In this paper Jiang Zemin's ideas on 'countryside, agriculture & farmers' are discussed in five major content: role and position of 'countryside, agriculture & farmers'; countryside econony system reform; agricultural protection; developing agriculture with science, technology and education; agricultural sustainable development etc.
