Studies on the disciplinary partitionment and the arrangement of specialities are the foundation for the speciality reform and for the researches on the training modes of higher vocational education.Based upon thorough investigations of the background of the building industry and the existing specialities of architectural and civil engineering in higher vocational education,the authors put forward the basic principles and basic method for disciplinary partitionment,and the basic principles,basic procedures and specific work plan to arrange specialities of architectural and civil engineering in higher vocational education.
