Scientific ideal and belief are the beacon lighting the advance of university students and spiritual strength of their healthy growing up. Whether correct thoughts and theories can be applied to leading the students to foster scientific ideal and belief is an important task of university ideological and political education. The thought of 'the Three Representatives' expounded by Comrade Jiang Ze-min at the meeting celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of CPC is a guide to our action.It is the view of dialectical unity of the two programmes that provides theoretical basis for ideal and belief education.
