LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

本文主要探讨了语言和文化之间的某些对应关系,指出不同语言有不同的文化标记,不同的语言系统影响着不同民族对世界的感知方式。文章引述了语言文化研究中的大量实例,如不同民族语言中的亲属称谓系统、颜色词系统、外部分解词语、动词形式等。通过比较研究,本文对语言与文化的关系,以及语言文化研究中存在的一些困难提出了自己的见解。还对语言分析技术在文化实体结构研究中的运用问题进行了评价。

After discussing some relationships between language and culture, this article points out the fact that languags bear different cultural labels and that our conceptual categorization of the world is wholly or partly determined by the system of our native language. This article,on the other hand, cites a number of concrete examples which have been discussed in linguistic and cultural research, such as the different kinship terms, colour categories, surface anatomy of terms and verb forms. Throngh comparison it also presents new opinions on the relationship qetween language and culture and some delicate questions in linguistic and cultural research. Meanwhile, it attempts to evaluate the different approaches towards linguistic analysis adopted in research in to the structure of cultural entities.
