ON CONTEMPORARY CHINESE POETRY IN THE TRADITIONAL STYLE

本文从宏观上对中国当代诗词的创作及其存在的问题作了考察,并对导致这些问题的原因有所分析。同时指出,当代诗词应坚决克服种种不健康的倾向,认真转变诗风,面向现实,使之具有鲜明的时代特色和浓烈的生活气息,路子才会越走越宽。

Making a sweeping survey of Contemporary Chinese poetry in the traditional genres of shi and ci,this article explores the problems in this field and analyses their causes.It ends by pointing out that writers of shi and ci should firmly overcome unhealthy tendencies, earnestly improve style,face realities and try to create poems with distinctive and living features of the times.Only thus will there be broad vistas for shi and ci writing.
