论马歇尔经济学说中的几个问题

ON SEVERAL PROBLEMS OF MARSHALL’S ECONOMIC THEORY

本文论述了马歇尔经济学说中为我国学者所忽略或曲解的三个问题。(1)用'折衷主义'一词概括马歇尔体系的根本特征,并进而予以全盘否定,是不恰当的。称马歇尔为'折衷主义者'是苏联经济学家的创造,但我国学者又赋予了自己的理解和阐释。(2)马歇尔学说具有鲜明的社会学倾向,由此构成了它的一些独特之处,还包含着若干合理的内容,这是我国学者比较忽略的。(3)马歇尔论述了不少经济发展思想,其中颇多对我们有所启迪和可供借鉴的地方,我国学者需要进行认真的研究探讨。

Three issues about Marshall's economic theory, which have been neglected and misinterpreted by our economists, would be discussed in this paper. (1) It is not appropriate to generalize the basic characteristics of Marshallian system as 'eclecticism' and then totally repudiate it. It was Soviet economists whe first regarded Marshall as an 'eclecticist'.and then our scholars put on it their own comprehensions and explanation,. (2) Marshall's theory is characterized by a distinctive sociological inclination, thus forming a style of its own. On the other hand, the theory includes some reasonable contents, but our economists neglect such things to certain degree. (3) Marshall expounded so many thoughts concerned with economic development that there are quite a few inspirations that we can make use of. Therefore, it is necessary for our economists to make a serious study of his theory.
