新发现的薛福成在宁波的三篇佚文

THREE ANONYMOUS ARTICLES BY XI FUCHENG NEWLY FOUND IN NINGBO

薛福成是近代中国著名的资产阶级改良主义思想家和外交家。1884—1888年他在宁波就任宁绍台道,政绩卓著。这次在宁波发现的三篇佚文对了解薛氏早期思想和在宁波的活动有一定的参考价值。

Xi Fucheng was a well-known bourgeois reformist and diplomat in Modern China. He served with distinction during his tenure of office as governor of Ningbo-Shaoxing District between 1884 and 1888. The three anonymous articles by him found in Ningbo may shed light on his early thinking and activities in Ningbo.
