Application of MPLS VPN to ATM Network

MPLS在IP路由和控制协议基础上提供面向连接的交换,克服了传统ATMDVERIP的“重叠”模式的一些缺点。无锡广电网络中心在已建成的ATM宽带综合业务网络上,利用MPLS组建VPN,取得了良好的市场运用效果,本文对这一系统进行了介绍。

The MPLS provides a connection-oriented switch on the basis of the IP routingand control protocol and overcomes shortcomings of the 襬verlap?mode of theconventional ATM over IP. Wuxi Radio and TV Network Center has built VPN on thebuilt ATM B-ISDN using MPLS and has achieved a good market operating result.This paper gives an introduction to this system.
