《红楼梦》中的诗词大多对书中人物命运有暗示图谶作用 ,而《五美吟》一直是作为展现林黛玉反传统的新女性价值观来研究的。本文联系贾府五位悲剧女子与《五美吟》所吟咏的五个史书中女子相似的遭遇命运 。

Most of the poems in the Dream of Red Mansions serve to hint the fates of the characters in it, whereas the Intone of Five Beauties has been studied as unfolding the values of new women represented by Lin Daiyu against the traditional. In connection with the five tragic females in the Jia family, who have similar fates as the five females in historical records as depicted in the Intone of Five Beauties, this article tries to unfold the deep meaning of the group of poems and the sorrow expressed by them.
