The initial design of developing tourism for the Ancient Canal segment in Zhenjiang

古运河是镇江的母亲河 ,是镇江具有“垄断性”的文化资本。在分析古运河沿岸景观带功能潜力的基础上 ,提出了开发其旅游功能的总体目标和规划原则 ,并对分段开发古运河沿岸景观带进行了初步设计。

The ancient canal is the mother river of Zhenjiang as well as the cultural mark with monopolization in Zhenjiang. On the basis of analyzing the function and the potential of the belt of riparian landscape for the ancient canal,this article aims to come up with the total goal and principal plan for developing tourism and the initial design for the canal segmental development.
