通过以《吉檀迦利》为对象的个案研究,在中国现代文化的语境中考察了泰戈尔在中国的误读现象,并与西方读者眼中的泰戈尔进行对比分析,探询文化误读的原因,以寻找在后殖民主义时代,泰戈尔文学对东西方走向文化对话和相互理解所具有的意义。

This paper examines the cultural misinterpretation of Tagore's Gitanjali in modern Chinese culture and analyses the reasons of the misinterpretation by comparing how it is read in the west. It aims at exploring the significance of Tagore in the dialogue and mutual understanding between the eastern and the western cultures in post-colonialism time.
