摘要
1999年诺贝尔文学奖得主德国作家君特·格拉斯的长篇小说《铁皮鼓》通过“超常怪人”奥斯卡的视角描述了二战前后德国市民阶层的社会生活,真实地反映了那个时代的精神风貌,并揭示法西斯统治的前因后果。小说继承传统,又不囿于传统,融荒诞、真实、调侃、幽默为一体,风格独特,体现了德意志共和国初期文学创作的成就,“已经无可争辩地进入了20世纪世界文学名著之列”。
German writer Gunter Grass, the Nobel Prize winner of literature in 1999, through the character Oscar in Die Blechtrommel, describes the German civic social life before and after the Second World War, offers a truthful display of the spiritual outlook of that age, and exposes the causes and consequences of fascist regime. This novel inherits but not is contained by tradition, integrating absurdity, truth, ridicule and humor. It represents the literary achievements made in the early stage of German Republic.
