朱熹《大学》补传的概念内涵之辩正

Zhu Xi's “Supplemented Interpretation of Da Xue (the Great Learning)” Does not Equal to “Supplemented Interpretation of Ge Wu”

摘要 朱熹为《大学》"格物致知"所作补传,多被称为"格物补传"。就文本而言,补传内容阐明何为"格物",补传固可称为"格物补传";但之所以阐述"格物",是为回答如何"致知",并最后达到"知至",即"吾心之全体大用无不明",因此,补传也可称为"致知补传"。然而,以手段性的"格物"称呼补传,不仅易于忽略"致知"的目的和"知致"的效验;并且经由学术思想史考察,自王阳明开始,"格物"越来越被误解为向外求理、与"致知"相分离;以"格物"作为朱熹《大学》补传之名,引起诸多误解分歧,其中,冯友兰对"格物"的认识论诠解路径,难免推衍出朱熹思想系统内原本并不存在的"格物"到"致知"的知识与道德"断裂"。因此,就"格物"为"致知之方"而言,并考虑朱熹所谓"致知、格物,只是一事"、"格物,以理言也;致知,以心言也"的思想,将朱熹《大学》补传,称为"致知补传"似更为妥当。 Zhu Xi's 'Supplemented Interpretation of Da Xue( the Great Learning) ',had always been called 'Supplemented Interpretation of Ge Wu'for short,and according to Zhu's text,indeed it concentrated on the interpretation of 'what is Ge Wu'; However,The reason we demonstrate the Ge Wu roots in the question 'how to Zhi Zhi'( i. e. to acquire knowledge),and Ge Wu aim to so called Zhi Zhi( i. e. knowledge acquired) which would show off the 'Quan Ti Da Yong'( i.e. magical effect) of'My Mind'. Additionally the meaning of Ge Wu had been more and more misreading as acquiring Li( knowledge) from outside since Wang Yang-ming,in this way Ge Wu would separated from Zhi Zhi and that is out of accord with Zhu Xi's original statement,such as 'Ge Wu and Zhi Zhi,just be the same/one thing','Ge Wu,we called it from the Li side; Zhi Zhi,we called it from the Mind side'. So once we continue using the word Ge Wu,which is full of ambiguity,as the name of 'Supplemented Interpretation of Da Xue( the Great Learning) ',there would be no way to avoid further misunderstanding.
