As bigger equipment in mine, mine hoists would influence the safety of the mine and person if they don't work properly. DS1820 digital temperature sensor has many advantages such as high precision in measurement, convenience in linking, and can be used in measuring temperature of the principal axis of mine hoist to insure safety production. The working principle, realizing scheme and some problems in usage of measuring system were introduced in the paper.
