The important action in nuclear physics experiments of position sensitive detectors was described. The operation principle, the time and position characteristic of low pressure multwire proportional chamber (LPMWPC) were described also. The structure and the measuring results of the LPMWPC used for secondary experiment of light particles with higher energies were given, a position resolution of ΔX=ΔY=0.7mm was obtained.
