A High Performance Web Server Based on Pipeline

摘要 服务器的结构对服务器性能有着至关重要的影响.指出了现行服务器结构设计中的缺陷,提出了一些服务器结构的设计原则,设计了流水线结构和资源管理者模式,应用这两个技术实现了一个Web服务器,测试了该服务器的性能,结果证明,该服务器明显优于现存Web服务器. Architectures of servers have very important effects on their performance. Some shortcomings of the existing design of servers?architectures are indicated and some design principals are presented in this paper. A new architecture of servers 憄ipeline?and a design pattern 憆esource manager?based on the above analysis are proposed in this paper. A real Web server is implemented by using these new techniques. The testing results show that it is much better than existing servers on performance.
