15个苜蓿品种种子萌发特性及相关性研究

Seed Germination Characteristics and Their Correlation Analysis of 15 Alfalfa Varieties

以内蒙古中西部地区适宜种植的15个不同苜蓿品种为试验材料,采用培养皿种子暴露试验方法,对其种子的发芽率、根长、芽长、根重、芽重、根长/芽长、根重/芽重等7个发芽指标进行了测定与评价,并对苜蓿主要萌发特性的相关性进行了分析。结果表明:不同苜蓿品种间发芽特性差异较大,其中公农1号和中苜1号的发芽率最高,达到97%;在根长、芽长方面,草原2号表现突出;在根长/芽长上,金皇后最高;在根重、芽重方面,表现最好的分别是WL354、WL168;在根重/芽重方面,比值最大的是草原3号。性状间相关分析表明,根长与芽长、根长/芽长间呈现极显著相关,芽长与芽重、根长/芽长间呈现显著相关,根重与芽重、根重/芽重间呈现显著相关,其余性状间均呈现不显著相关。

A total of 15 different alfalfa varieties suitable planted in central and western regions of Inner Mongolia were chosen to investigate their seed germination characteristics and correlation. The germination indexes of the selected alfalfa varieties, including seed germination rate, root length, bud length, root weight, bud weight, root/bud length and root/bud weight, were determined and evaluated by seed exposure test in plate. The correlation of different seed germination characteristics of the alfalfa varieties was also analyzed. The results showed that the seed germination traits of different alfalfa varieties varied. The germination rate of the varieties of Gongnong No.1 and Zhongmu No.1 were the highest, both of them reached up to 97%. In terms of root length and bud length, the variety of Caoyuan No.2 performed well. The root/bud length of the variety of Jinhuanghou was the highest. In terms of root weight and bud weight, the varieties of WL354 and WL168 were excellent. The highest ratio of root/bud weight was observed in the variety of Caoyuan No.3. The correlation analysis of different germination traits showed that there was very significant correlation between root length and bud length and root/bud length. The bud length significantly correlated with bud weight and root/bud length. Significant correlation was also found between root weight and bud weight and root/bud weight. No significant correlation was observed in the other traits.
