The Internactive Cycling Relationship between the Choice of Request Strategies and Social Distance

请求言语行为是语用学研究的中心课题之一。请求策略的选择受许多社会因素的影响,其中之一是社会距离。社会距离越近,就越倾向于使用直接请求策略。以往的研究都只对社会距离影响请求策略的选择,进行了关注,其实此二者之间是一种互相影响、互相映射的互动循环变化关系。

The speech act of request is one of the principal topics in pragmatics. The choice of strategies of tequest is susceptible to social variables such as social status etc. According to the equation presented by Brown & Levinson,the closer the social distance is,the more people will employ the direct request. The connection between the choice of different strategies of request and the social relationship among people is interactive,dynamic and cycling. Social distance affect the choice of different strategies of request, whereas the choice of different strategies of request reflects the new temporary change in social distance among people.
