By analyzing the mutual dependent and restricted relationship between development of trade and transportation and by presenting rich practical examples, this paper puts forward several approaches of solving transportation problems of metropolitan trade centers from both trade and transportation perspective, which can provide the effective solutions for compatible development of both trade and transportation in cities.
