无锡话重叠式名词比汉语普通话丰富,有AA、AA头、AA(头)、ABB、AAB、AABB等格式,各式中又有若干小类。

Reiterative nouns in Wuxi dialect which include the structures of AA,ABB,AAB and AABB etc. are much more than those in Mandarin and there are different sub_categories in each structure. This paper shows some characteristics of word_building in Northern Wu dialect through the description of reiterative nouns in Wuxi dialect.
