Synthesis of α,ω-dimercaptans

有机二卤化物与三硫代碳酸钠在水溶液中进行反应生成二取代的三硫代碳酸盐中间产物,然后加酸分解,得8个α,ω-二巯基化合物。

In this paper,eight α,ω-dimercaptans have been prepared by treatment of dihalides with sodium trithiocarbonate,the intermediates couldeasily be converted into the corresponding dimer-captans.The reaction is rapid,simple to con-duct,and affords the product in good yield.
