Background and significance of agricultural machinery appraisal and inspection were expounded. On the basis of analyzing status quo of agricultural machinery appraisal at home and abroad,status quo of agricultural machinery appraisal of Beijing city,status of product appraisal about agricultural machinery enterprises of Beijing city,and existing problems were introduced emphatically. Targeted improvement suggestions were put forward. Development trend of agricultural machinery appraisal and inspection of Beijng city was expected. It laid foundation for further strengthening appraisal work,enhancing appraisal ability and standardization level.
