The Development of E-commerce,Spatial Spillover Effects and Peasants' Income Growth

本文具体分析了电子商务发展促进农民增收的直接影响机制和空间外部性作用,并基于浙江省11个地市的面板数据检验两者的关系。研究发现,电子商务发展及其空间溢出对农民收入增长具有显著的正向影响,且政府支持力度越大其作用越强,同时,欠发达地区可以利用电子商务带来的"后发优势"有效提高农民收入水平。农村网商集聚对当地农民收入增长的关系呈现为"倒U型",其空间溢出效应尚不明显。

This paper analyzes the direct impact mechanism and spatial externality of e-commerce development to promote the peasants’income,and tests the relationship based on the panel data of 11 cities in Zhejiang.The research finds that the development of e-commerce and the spatial spillover have a significant positive impact on the growth of peasants’income,while the greater the government support,the stronger its role.At the same time,the less developed areas can make use of the'post advantage'brought by e-commerce to improve the peasants’income level effectively.The study also finds that the relationship between rural e-tailers’agglomeration and local peasant’income growth is'inverted U',and the spatial spillover effect is not obvious.This paper not only expands the research of e-commerce in rural problems,which provides the basis for the poverty alleviation via e-commerce,but also enriches the related research on the relationship between the growth of peasants’income and the economic agglomeration of ecommerce represented by the'Taobao village'.The conclusions of this paper have important implications for the development of e-commerce and the formulation of industrial policies.
