摘要 A new species, Placidus incurvatus sp. nov. from Nepal is described and the genus is placed in Stegelytrinae, new placement. 本文记述了采自尼泊尔的叶蝉科秀头叶蝉亚科小头叶蝉属 1新种 :凹瓣小头叶蝉Placidus incurvatus,sp.nov.,并确认小头叶蝉属应隶属于秀头叶蝉亚科。新种模式标本保藏于英国自然历史博物馆 ( BMNH)凹瓣小头叶蝉 Placidus incurvatus,新种 (图 1～ 7)体长 (包括前翅 ) :♂ 8.0 mm。正模 :♂ ( BMNH) ,2 mls. S. W. of Rambrong,2 40 0 m,2 6- -1 954 ,J. Quinlan.B. M. Nepal Expdt. B. M. 1 954 -54 0。该新种额唇基具 1近似漏斗形的纵长黄色区域 ,阳基侧突外基突端部向外侧弯折翘起 ,生殖瓣端部凹入 ,明显有别于同属其它种类。
