纵观20世纪中国文学,现实主义的主流意识始终居其要位。作为主流意识的现实主义文学,是在中国古典传统现实主义,欧州19世纪批判现实主义,前苏联社会主义现实主义三大理论的渊源流变与整合中,构筑了其完整的理论体系。

Realism as the main stream has always occupied an important place in Chinese literature in the twentieth century. As the main stream, Realistic literature has developed into an integrated theoretic system through a combination and evolution of three main theoretic sources: ancient Chinese traditional Realism, 19th century European Critical Realism, and the former U.S.S.R. Socialist Realism.
