数据集成中的同步和复制是两个重要的方面，文章分析了分布式环境下的数据同步和复制方法，提出了异构数据库复制的消息中间件设计方案，它是上海交通大学数据中心建设的数据平台基础。

Data synchronization and replication are two important aspects of the data integration, this article gives some comparison and contrast of several data replication and synchronization methods in the distributed computing environment, and also proposes a JMS-based message-oriented middleware solution to integrate data from the heterogeneous database to be the platform of Shanghai Jiaotong University's data center.
