摘要
iSCSI是近年提出的基于IP的网络存储协议，通过iSCSI可以实现SCSI命令和数据在IP网络上的传输，基于通用的IP网络是iSCSI最显著的优点。介绍了iSCSI协议的结构、地址和命名规则、安全策略以及iSCSI的应用方案，分析了iSCSI协议应用于网络存储的优势。
iSCSI implements the transmission of SCSI commands and data on IP network as a new network storage protocol based on IP, whose prominent merit is being constructed on the current network structure. This paper introduces the structure, address and naming conventions, security strategy and applications of iSCSI protocol. The advantages of iSCSI used in network storage are put forward.
