The Effect of Request Rate on Scheduling in Clustered Web Servers

摘要 讨论了集群Web服务器的几种常见请求调度策略,针对目前大多数的请求调度策略都是只考虑服务器的内在指标,而忽略了请求速率等输入指标对负载调度的影响,即使考虑了请求速率,也很少考虑请求速率变化突发性对Web服务器的影响。通过分析请求速率对Web服务器的性能影响,可以利用输入指标结合服务器指标来调度请求输入,从而有效地解决服务器间的负载不平衡。 This paper discussed a few request dispatching algorithms. These request dispatching algorithms only consider the internal parameters of servers, they ignore the influence of request rate for scheduling.They seldom think of request rate under bursty conditions even though they consider the influence of request rate for scheduling. We can use the input parameters and parameters of servers to dispatch requests by analyse the influence of request rate in web server,so as to solve the load imbalance problem among the servers effectively.
