The Investigation and Analysis forThree Important Reports about PUS in Britain

英国政府以及有关学术团体发表的关于"公众理解科学"的三个报告,探求PUS这一概念在英国的发展,说明了今天的"公众理解科学"已经不同于最初传统意义上的"公众理解科学",即已经由科学家到公众的单向流动过程,转变成为由科学家到公众、公众到科学家的双向互动过程了。

By analysis of three important reports about PUS,published by British Government and some Societies,this paper investigated the development of the concept of PUS in Britain,and found that at present, PUS became already different from its traditional meaning.Originally,it focused on oneway process from scientists to public,but now it has changed to focused on twoway interactive process between scientist and public.
