SYNTHEIS OF A NOVEL CHELATING RESIN CONTAINING SULFUR AND OXYGEN UNDER PHASE TRANSFER CATALYZED CONDITIONS

摘要 In this manuscript, a novel chelating resin containing sulfur and oxygen, poly[(2 hydroxyethyl) o vinylbenzene sulfide](PSSE), was synthesized by using chloromethylated polystyrene(PSC)and 2 mercapto ethanol(ME)as materials and tetrabutyl ammonium bromide(TBAB)as PT catalyst. The structure of PSSE was characterized by the methods of FTIR, elemental analysis, and X ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The effect factors such as reaction time, reaction temperature, and polarity of solvents on reaction were investigated.
