Widespread prevalence of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in the China as well as in the world in-volved in 33 countries, has caused huge damage in economy and politics. Recently, pathogen of SARS has been confirmed asa new coronavirus and the genome sequences reported. However, it is little known on the pathogenic pathway of coronavirusand the pathogenesis of the SARS pathogen. The newest advances and the possible pathogenesis of SARS pathogen are playeda role in acute lung and major immune organs injury.
