摘要
针对一类对比度低,含有多种不同类型的噪声,并且存在部分模糊现象的褪化档案文字图像,给出了一种新的图像增强算法。它可以根据褪化图像的特点,在多种不同类型噪声干扰比较严重的区域,以平滑噪声为主;在图像细节较多的区域,以增强局部对比度为主,从而达到既增强图像对比度,又抑制噪声的目的。在此基础上用直方图匹配法改善文字与背景的灰度分布,使之趋于合理,便于人眼观察。
In this paper, we propose a new algorithm of image enhancement in accordance with a kind of degraded character image containing many kinds of noises having low contrast and existing some fuzzy phenomena. By using the method, we can not only filter noises in the area of noise disturbed, but also enhance local contrast in the area with more image details. What is more, we improve gray level distribution of character and background by histogram match.
