A Brief Discussion of Life-long Education

文章对“终身教育”概念内涵进了阐释 ,提出终身教育的必要性、现实性 ,认为 :终身教育理论贯穿人的一生 ,要求人不断地学习 ,建立“学习化社会” ,达到自我完善的目的 ,并使人们通过学会求知、学会做事、学会共同生活、学会生存四方面的学习和修炼 ,提高个人修养 ,促进社会进步。

This text gives an interpretation of the concept of life-long education and points out its necessity and reality. The article holds that life-long education theory lasts through a person's life so that a person should continue learning to build a society stressing study so as to achieve self-perfection. Through learning to acquire knowledge, to handle affairs, to live together with others and to manage personal existence, a person can enhance self-cultivation and help improve the society.
