摘要
当代接受美学理论认为文本意义是不确定的。文本意义依赖于读者的阅读,读者在对文本的诠释中起主体作用。在翻译过程中,文本意义的实现依赖于译者的前理解;译者对翻译过程中的创作自由度是有限的,须以原文文本为依据;译者还要相信译文读者的接受能力。
This paper is concerned with the Reception Theory and its impact on literary translation. Contemporary Reception Theory holds that there is no absolute interpretation of the meaning of a text. The reader plays a subjective role in such a process. In translation, a translator's pre-understanding plays a decisive role; the translator's scope of creativity is limited, depending on the source text; the target text readers' capability of reception should be trusted.
