Linux是一个多任务的操作系统,系统上同时运行着多个进程,正在执行的一个或多个相关进程称为一个作业。使用作业控制,用户可以同时运行多个作业,并在需要时在作业之间进行切换。现就进过与作业的基本概念、进程管理(仅以启动进程为例)及作业控制作以介绍。

Linux is an operative system with many missions. Many processes can work simultaneously in the system. and those processes, which are interrelated working, are regarded as an assignment. By job control, operators can operate many jobs at the same lime and change different jobs when necessary. The article gives introductions about the basic conceptions of the process and the management, and also introduces the process management (only taking starling process as example) and the control of job.
