From the requirements of the aptitude for talented in an information era, as well as from the characteristics of sports teaching, the article analyzes the significance of carrying out an internet- oriented school sports teaching. Besides, it points out the new changes and characteristics in school sports teaching initiated from the internet- oriented sports taching. Despite that, problems that should be highly concerned about the current internet- oriented school sports teaching are posed in the article.
