An full-automatic light adjustment method based on technology of signals selective gate

Automatic light adjustment principle of CCD camera is introduced. An automatic light adjustment system was designed. According to the arisen region of the object, a signals selective gate was set. Based on the signals selective gate and processing video signals, the system can accurately pickup peak value of the selected region in a field and control the motor to rotate,then regulate the light arriving to CCD camera. The feature of the system is simple, lowcost, good reliability and producing clear and stable image. 
