摘要
阿兰是赛珍珠的代表作品《大地》中旧式中国农村妇女的文学形象 ,她忠厚朴实 ,坚毅勤劳 ,深受威权意识和封建思想道德的重重压迫。文中分析了阿兰的优点和她性格中的缺陷 。
Ah Lan is a heroine in The Good Earth by Pearl Buck. Sh e is a literature image of rural woman in old China. Ah Lan is honest and tolera nt and industrious; meanwhile she is oppressed by authority consciousness and fe udal ideas. In this paper,the author discloses the tragic fortune that the women in old China could not get rid of the oppression of feudal ideas by analyzing A h Lan′s virtue and deficiency of her character.
