Dongting Lake receives the flow and sediment from the three outlet rivers of Yangtze River and Xiang、Zi、Yuan、Li rivers Using a lot of hydrological data,this article analyzes the characteristics of Dongting Lake’s sediment transport within a year and inter\|years.The characteristics and the rules of Dongting Lake’s graded sediment transport are also discussed.
