Though redunda ncy belongs to t he domain of reliability,many special fu nctions can be realized through its reas onable exercises.With some applications in the geometry measurement,this paper d issertates the benefits of measurements of reducing or eliminating measuring er rors with information redundancy,and re alizing special functions with hardware redundancy.
