The method of controlling direction in the coal-face using mechanized equipment to extract the upper coal and adjusting hydraulic prop and paddle through accessorial method in Huainan Xieqiao Coal Mine are introduced. It is proved that the method, which can provide technical support for high effciency and safe production, is valid after it has been applied in couples of similar coal-faces.
