The Changes of Malondialdehyde Contents and Superoxide Dismutase Activity in Rat Brain during Cerebral Ischemia and Reperfusion

摘要 大鼠全脑缺血30分钟再灌5分钟,脑组织丙二醛(MDA)含量显著高于对照组,再灌15分钟达高峰;同时脑组织超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)的活性在全脑缺血期下降,提示脂质过氧化主要发生于全脑缺血再灌注早期。 Free radicals and lipid peroxidation may be involved in cerebral ischemia/reper-fusion injuries. Malondialdehyde(MDA) content,superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in rat brain were studied after different degrees of global ischemia (three-vessel occlusion) and reperfusion. It showed that MDA content remained normal within 60min ischemia, but increased significantly after 5 min reperfusion; SOD activity decreased during 30 min ischemia but recovered immediately when reperfusion occured. It is suggested that the occurance of lipid peroxidation is related with the damage of the antioxidant defense system in the rat brain during cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.
