摘要
叠字是汉字中常用的一种修辞手段。汉语叠字可用来翻译英语中的部分形容词、副词、数量词、动词及象声词。
Reiterative locution,commonly existed in Chinese language,could be used in translating some English ad-jectives,adverbs,quantifiers,and onomatopoeias.This thesis expounds the usage of reiterative locution in English-Chinese translating.
