On the Duality of USA Far-East Policy Before the Pacific War

由于美国传统的远东政策原则:倡议和支持门户开放政策,但拒绝为维护此政策而战。阻碍其对已变化了的远东权力格局及带来的美国在其中的角色的认知,由此又缺乏正确的对日本破坏远东平衡行为的因应战略,使美国在太平洋战争之前执行了一条充满矛盾的、两重性的远东政策。此政策的结果,不仅使美国对中国的道义及经济支持大打折扣;而且因美国的对日绥靖,在经济上充当为日本积累和储备战略物资的"帮凶"角色,实际上纵容和刺激了日本扩大侵略,并最终也把美国引向战争之路。

The socalled unchangeable USA FarEast Policy is a principle carried on full of contradictions and duality, that is: advocate and support the 'OpenDoor' policy but refuse to struggle for its going into effect; hinder the cognition but have no relevant strategy against Japan's destruction upon FarEast setup balance. As a result, not only it had brought about USA moral and economic support for China with some discount, and but also USA had acted as the accompliance for Japan to accumulate and reserve strategic materials for its policy of appeasement to Japan, so actually USA FarEast policy had connived and stimulated Japan to expand invading areas and led itself to involve into the Pacific War.
