随着南京金陵船厂的不断发展 ,设计量越来越多 ,必然要遇到信息集成、信息快速频繁交换和使用等问题 ,传统的系统已难以承担此任 ,唯有PDM系统才能以前所未有的、更快、更完整的思维展示产品、过程与人员的关系。介绍了PDM的概念、特点、系统结构 。

With the ceaseless development of Nanjing Jinling shipyard, the more and more design workload has led the high integration, frequent exchange and effective application of information not to be negligible. The traditional systems have been difficult to undertake this huge task. However, the PDM system can translate the relationship among the products, process and personnels with the unprecedented, much quicker and more integrated thoughs. In this paper, the concepts, characteristics, system structures, the management objectives to be achieved and the benefits to be produced of PDM have been presented.
