Market Economy is Calling the Spirit of Humanity

当前我们所要建立的社会主义市场经济体制,不仅有一个同社会主义制度相结合的问题,而且还存在一个同“人文精神”结合的问题。因为它内含着一整套有关“人文精神”的环境营造课题,离开了“人文精神”则势必使社会主义市场经济体制建设发生扭曲,建立不起来,甚至兴而复衰。这就提示我们,必须针对目前社会主义市场经济的要求,营造良好的“人文精神”氛围。

With regard to the system of socialistic market economy we will create, there are not only an issue of integrating the socialistic regime but also an issue of integrating the spirit of humanity, it contains a set of issues relating to building circumstances of the spirit of humanity. The reason is that, without the spirit of humanity, the construction of our socialistic market e-conomy will be distorted and could not be built even there would be a recession after a short boom. So it implies that we must create a satisfactory spirit of humanity to meet the requisites of our socialistic market economy.
