PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF A NEW HYBRID PROTOCOL FOR BUS NETWORKS

本文提出了一种新的总线局部网络混合协议,这种混合协议避免了CSMA/CD协议在重负载条件下出现吞吐量下降与延时上升的现象,理论分析与模拟结果表明,混合协议总的性能优于CSMA/CD协议。

In this paper, a new hybrid protocol for bus networks is put forward, which avoids the problem of throughput decrease and the delay increase under the condition of heavy load. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation show that the performance of the hybrid protocol is much better than that of the CSMA/CD protocol.
