THE APPLICATIONS OF PATTERN MATCHING IN FUNCTIONAL LANGUAGE AND ITS COMPILING ALGORITHMS

本文着重讨论模式匹配在函数语言中的作用,提出了函数定义和变量值定义中模式匹配的两个编译算法.分析表明,第二个编译算法较Augustsson在函数语言LML编译程序中所采用的算法要好.

The applications of pattern matching in functional languages are discussed, and two algorithms of compiling pattern matching in function definitions and value bindings are presented. It is shown by analysis that the second algorithm is more effcient than that used by Augustsson in his compiler for functional language LML.
