Water-saving Transformation and Sustainable Development of Irrigated Areas

通过潇河灌区工程节水改造的实践,论证了节水改造能有效解决灌区工程老化失修、效益衰减等问题,增加灌区收入,促进农业发展,是灌区经济可持续发展的必由之路。

Through the practice of the water-saving transformation of Xiaohe Irrigated Area works, this paper discusses that the water-saving transformation is the only road for sustainable development of irrigated area's economy because it can resolve effectively the problems of the age, disrepair and benefit attenuation of irrigated area works, increase the income of irrigated areas, and accelerate agricultural development.
