The Mechanical Properties of Continuous Grey Cast Iron Bars

研究了Si对连铸灰铁棒材力学性能的影响。结果表明,连铸棒材具有优异的疲劳强度,但是随着含硅量的增加,断裂韧性和冲击值降低,宜控制含硅量不超过2.2%。

This paper investigates the influence of Si on the mechanical properties of continuous grey cast iron bar. The results show that the bar possesses excellent fatigue strength. But with the increase in Si content the fracture toughness and impact value decreases, so that a Si content below 2.2% is recommended.
